Good video
You mentioned posting another video on how to test your solenoid, to know if it needs replacing. Did you post that one? Thanks much.
Thank you for this.
Did you ever make the video on how to test it?
You are right up too date cool !
I am a auto body repair man ,you did a good job sir,I know you did not use a sanding block but it looks good.
Thank god you put the graph of correct oil levels on a dipstick at the end of your video. All the other morons on UA-cam explaining oil levels dont even show this simple graph showing safe and non safe levels. The best videos show graphs.
Can you show us how to disconnect the drawer in the Front
Please help🚨 I have a 2014 Yamaha YDREX4 golf cart. I need to replace solinoid.....can't figure out where it is located.

Thank you for sharing such a great job I just did same thin with my wife van and she is not happy but seeing your video now I'm feel confident to do it my self You did a great job
You absolutely should. If I can do this, anyone can. Painting is my archnemesis.
Would this correct water coming in during a car wash on my 05 Buick lacrosse drivers side door?
Possibly. Does the door seem misaligned? I would also check the weatherstripping around the door first.
Its not flush smooth when closed. Seems to stick out about half inch. Passenger side completely flush smooth when closed
Anyone know where to buy a replacement?
I got mine from Ebay.
Just got my car back from the shop and it had this exact problem. Dad had an old rachet set but it seems too big to fit into the area. What type of rachet did you use? Also I have an old rusted car, will the bolts be difficult to loosen? We are hoping to fix this ourselves. Thank you for the great video!
I used a 3/8" ratchet which fit fine. Any idea what size the ratchet is your are using? I would recommend spraying it with some PB Penetrant or other penetrant before trying to loosen them if it is rusted.
Thank you for the reply! I'm not really sure. It doesn't really fit in the area. I had to take it back to the mechanics. It flew open when I was driving! Do you know the cause of that happening? I'm so disappointed.
@@Holly24tm That's pretty rare. I assume it flew open when you were braking. If so I would suspect a defect latch.
Ty! Trying this out tomorrow. Don’t want to pay for it if I can do it myself.
You can totally do it.
@@ClintHolland I’ll let you know! 🤪
Great tutorial! I just installed my first fan.
Awesome and great to hear.
I put this stuff in radiator but now i have high coolent temp code, how to remove this stuff from radiator ?
I am not sure I understand your question. You put stop leak in your radiator or you put Thoroflush in your radiator?
If you were going to repaint the entire bumper, how many cans of base coat do you think you would need?
Probably 3 cans. Take a look at this link which should help. www.automotivetouchup.com/how-much-paint/
Thank you,Clint!
OMG... THANK YOU!! I have a Bad Boy Buggy, ordered the solenoid and then discovered that I had TWO that had a connector joining the two. Replaced one and nothing.... ordered another and replaced the 2nd one today and I'm ROLLING!! I'm a girl with some basic tools. This video was so easy to follow and the install was easy to do. Saved me a trip to the shop.... and no telling how much $$.
Awesome. I love hearing these stories and thats why I make these videos.
Hi Clint. I have a 2003 Club Car DS. I am experiencing what you have described. I turn on the key, place cart in forward or reverse and nothing happens. I wait a minute or two or press the peddle a bunch of times and or flip the forward/reverse switch back and forth...and finally the car will move and act normal until it just stops. Sounds like the solenoid to me based on your video. My question is where is my solenoid located on my cart? I can't seem to find it anywhere around the battery compartment. Thank you!
The wiring diagram seems to show it behind the batteries and really low. Kind of between the batteries and the motor.
Thank you 🙏🏼
And thank you for watching.
how to I find the correct battery terminal to connect to?
I figured it out. On a club car, goes to the first positive post and the last negative post.
@@Shawn-st4di Exactly that. Glad you figured it out.
suppose you could use a come along if needed with this tool
Funny you mention that. I actually tried one but without the slide hammer and it didn't work. If you used both it probably would. To get that ring to release you really need a quick snapping motion and not the constant tension.
I do have a same brand ceiling fan . But the issue spinning to slow . Do you know why?
Even on the highest speed it is slow?
Ur amazingggf
Thank you. I am going to go tell my wife but she won't believe me.
Well done man 👏👏👏
Thank you sir.
Thanks Clint. For me it is easy to pull out the sensor boards, but what made your video SO VALUABLE was when you bypassed the unit with a Jumper, and you showed Clearly what pins to bypass. That was fantastic. I have not done this yet but will today June 4th 2024. I originally felt that I might be able to repair the bad component but the replacements are cheap and easy to get so just get them off Amazon and move on. Thanks again for the video.
You sound just like me. I have an electronics background and could probably diagnose and replace any of the components on there but then you have diminishing returns when the part is like $30.
@@ClintHolland part arrived from Amazon $20 and installed the new boards in about 15 minutes. Working fine now!!!
@@myradiovideos Fantastic. Love hearing that.
You should always put your blades on first ain't nothing worse than trying to put blades on when you're on a ladder
You can't on this fan. You can put some on but because of the way you have to hang it, if you put them all on you can't hang it. But in general I agree with you.
I'm reading the comments haven't even got the video yet I got a feeling this guy is a bleep bleep to his son. I own a business called Bowman's handyman and painting. This business was previously owned by my father. Do I worked under for 20 years. So you don't want to get older and regret treating your son the way that you are. You let him do him. He's going to be okay. My dad now regrets being very hard to be around and work for. My dad is now retired and lives in regret because of him always nitpicking about our work I mean our work cuz he had three other kids. I pretty much shut down and stop listening to him and I started learning things on my own because him teaching me was a mess cuz he was so rude and aggressive about it. So now I know what I know not because my father which is a shame I should be taught by him. You don't want your son shutting down on you. Because he will get tired of it.
Well unfortunately I don't. What you saw is called sarcasm and he thinks all these comments are hilarious. Not only that but I never said a single one of these comments to him directly. But you do you. My son is now 23 and doing quite well for himself despite him having what is obviously the worst dad ever. But thanks for watching. I will use some of the money generated from your view to pay for his future therapy.
Hi there. For the garage opener that I have. Genie Model 2028. Where do I insert the wires of the Go Control?
I don't think this will work on that model as they want you to use their Aladdin remote control instead.
@@ClintHolland ok thank you so much
We bought a house that has a couple rooms with this fan model. They have a little bit of a wobble in them, but when we initially turn them on, the blades shake back and forth as though they're doing some sort of self-balancing before spinning up in the correct direction. Are they defective, or is this normal? The manual I found online doesn't mention anything about balancing during installation. Thanks!
Completely normal to spin back and forth when you turn it on. Not sure why but ours has always done that. You can buy a balancing kit at Lowes or Amazon that will fix the wobble. amzn.to/45florc
@@ClintHollandThank you for the response. After further investigation, the wobble was from one of the mounting screws coming loose. All fixed now, and I also found another comment elsewhere that these have a different kind of motor that will shake for a second upon startup as the magnets align. I can't vouch for that, but I can attest that having both of your mounting screws secured into the electrical box will help with the wobble! Lol
@@m.zelnick Great tip and glad you got it figured out.
Is the brace on the bottom blot necessary?
On this model it is.
I'm about to do the same thing for the 1st time in my life and you have given me the confidence to do it however all the videos I have seen say to use 2K clear coat for a better gloss
I would agree with that. If I had to do this again, I would use the 2 part 2k clear coat as well. Much harder coating.

@@chuklee7523 Yep. Close enough for government work. Oh and btw, it worked.
Anyone have a link to the replacement parts? Aftermarket preferred since I'm sure it'll be cheaper
Doubt you will find them. I found this one on Ebay. That or a junk yard are probably your best bets with a vehicle this old.
Good instructional video. The only thing that would make the video better would be deleting all the negative comments about your son. He did a great job! You’re lucky he even wants to work with you after you publicly humiliated him with your unnecessary derogatory remarks! Even if your comments were made in jest, they can still hurt and discourage!
Understood. I have actually removed the really vulgar ones but I kind of wanted free speech to rein for the most part. My son loves seeing the comments and I promise it didn't hurt his psyche. Also note that I wasn't actually talking to him during the video. Everything you hear is after the video was recorded.
hi , so my golf cart runs 6 x 8 volt batteries, had a few issues with them over time due to the initial battery charger cooking the batteries .. that was replaced with another one that was much better , however i would lie to desulfer the batteries but i dont think my current charger does that .. i have one of the NOCO genius 5 chargers but it only seems to do 12v desulfate . also not sure what you mean by finding the right two batteries to connect that charger you are using .. wouldnt it be the first one and the last one ?
The 48v version of the battery minder would do just that. And you are correct, the first and last battery. Might seem simple to you and me but a lot of people don't understand series connected batteries.
Did you make the other video about how to test the solenoid? I’m blind or no? Thanks.
I didn't but if you search youtube for "test golf cart solenoid" you will get plenty of videos who are ahead of me.
ive watched and heard about the switch falling into the headliner while installing map lights, how can I avoid this?
Interesting. I am not sure as I haven't heard of that issue. If it did happen it wouldn't be too big of a deal. You can remove the entire assembly from the headliner pretty easily.
You saved me a ton of time and money. Thanks!
Awesome. That's why I make these videos. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Rather late in the day now but I repaired and repainted my front bumper which had scratches from parking nerfs when in supermarket car parks and it looks acceptable but I winged it. Now it's the rear bumper which has very deep scratches from where I reversed the car into a stone wall. Ok the sun was in my eyes but no excuse. I have made an 18 point list of everything you have done which includes all the various purchases and I shall follow it to the letter. Having sanded to damaged area now, all I found was that 180 grit didn't do the job and I had to go up to 120 and then finish with 180. But it's a Subaru and the bumper seems to be made of cast iron rather than plastic. That's as far as I've got until the stuff I ordered arrives, but I am now super confident thanks to you of getting an almost perfect finish as you have - unlike with my front bumper repair!
That is fantastic to hear. Let us know how it turns out.
Great video. Very informative and made it very easy to understand every step. Best how-to car video I've seen.
Thank you for the kind words and for watching. Hope it helped.

Absolutely and thank you for watching.
Thanks Clint great video!
How about replacing a coil?
I heard distilled water will steal elements from the metal in the cooling system because distilled water isn't happy water, as if it's unbalanced a little. So, the advice was mostly distilled plus a small amount of tap water.
I would've liked to have seen the missing 5 minjtes you cutout of your engine running. I wanted to see how dirty the rest of the coolant was. Yes, i have better things to do, but i have a FF button.
I bought this kit not realizing that I would have to splice into the system. Im not a fan of creating more potential points of failure especially if using plastic and worm drive clamps.
I get it and I completely understand. This kit is still in place after almost 10 years and works just fine. You can always try a chemical flush or buy a replacement heater hose to use afterwards.
Your alternator looks easy to replace.
It actually was.
